I’m working in Dreamweaver CS5 on Windows 10 and have a single, very tall JPG (2915 px × 5530 px) that must sit alone on its own webpage. Dreamweaver keeps squeezing it to fit the browser window, but what I really need is straightforward: keep the image at its natural width-to-height ratio, let it scale down only enough to fit the screen width, and allow the visitor to scroll down the full length. No headers, footers, or extra text—just the image. I’d like the code or CSS tweak that makes this happen, plus the flexibility to adjust the exact scaling once I see it in place. If you can provide a quick HTML/CSS snippet (or update my existing file) that achieves true vertical scrolling while preserving aspect ratio, the job is done.
