MUST HAVE MEDUSA JS EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!!!! My current Medusa .js commerce application needs a round of deep-dive customisation across the stack. The codebase is already live; what I need now is a focused sprint that adds new customer-facing features to the storefront, extends backend business logic, and wires in a few extra third-party services via API. Frontend scope The storefront (built with the standard Medusa React setup) requires several brand-specific features. Think custom product bundles, a richer checkout flow, and a responsive component library that plays nicely with the existing theme. Designs are ready in Figma, so the task centres on clean implementation and pixel precision rather than visual exploration. Backend scope Inside Medusa, new services and repositories must be added, existing ones refactored, and custom events emitted so that inventory, pricing, and promotions remain in sync. Where Medusa’s default workflows fall short, I’ll need bespoke endpoints and background jobs. Unit tests are expected around all critical logic. b2b accounts with management needed. API integrations Two external services must plug straight into Medusa’s modular architecture: • a shipment tracking provider that delivers real-time status updates • a marketing platform to capture post-purchase events Both expose REST/JSON endpoints; the job involves authentication handling, data mapping, and graceful error recovery. Deliverables • Updated codebase with clear commit history • Migration scripts or seed data where required • Brief technical doc outlining new services, environment variables, and setup steps • Passing test suite for added functionality Acceptance criteria All new features operate smoothly in staging, pass automated tests, and leave existing flows untouched. A short hand-off call or video walkthrough will close out the milestone. If Medusa’s plugin system, TypeScript, and typical ecommerce patterns are your daily toolkit, this should feel right in your wheelhouse.
