I’m launching a web application that lets several independent hotels handle every reservation in one place—online travel-agency traffic, walk-ins at the front desk, and anything that comes directly through their own sites. The core of the build is a clean, responsive site with a secure admin dashboard. From that dashboard I must be able to add or remove hotels, view and edit room inventory, see real-time availability, and confirm or cancel bookings on the spot. For this first release I only need the Admin role implemented; staff and guest self-service flows will be added later, so structure your database and permissions with that expansion in mind. The only booking type required right now is standard room booking. Although I haven’t committed to any one channel manager, the code should be ready to plug into APIs from major OTAs such as Booking.com, Airbnb, or Expedia without major refactoring. If you’ve worked with those REST or XML feeds before, let me know—future milestones will likely involve full two-way synchronization. Deliverables (all items must be met for acceptance): • A deployed, SSL-secured website with admin login • CRUD interface for hotels, rooms, rate plans, extras, and reservations • Calendar view that merges OTA, direct, and manual desk entries in real time • Clear setup guide plus commented source so a developer can maintain it internally Feel free to suggest the language or framework you think best suits a scalable SaaS-style rollout; my only hard requirement is that the stack be widely supported and easy to host on a standard cloud VPS.
