I’m building PulseTv, a live-streaming platform, and while I handle most of the core backend work, I need another set of hands to push the project over the finish line on both sides of the stack. Current stack & context • Database: MySQL • Realtime layer: native WebSocket connections for chat-bot hooks and audience messaging • Frontend preference: Next.js (React) • Streaming layer still pending: HLS and RTMP What I need from you 1. Frontend – Craft a responsive, clean UI in Next.js. – Set up solid state management (Redux, Zustand, or your preferred option) so chat, viewer counts, and live status stay perfectly in sync. – Wire everything to the existing REST and WebSocket endpoints. 2. Streaming features – Configure HLS and RTMP pipelines that let creators go live, keep the feed stable, and auto-generate adaptive renditions. – Enable server-side recording of each session for later playback or VOD. – Expose viewer analytics (concurrent viewers, watch time) in real time. Acceptance criteria • A Next.js front end running locally that consumes my endpoints and keeps UI state consistent across reloads. • Proven HLS/RTMP flow: OBS → ingest → adaptive delivery in the browser with minimal latency. • Recorded files stored and indexed in MySQL, analytics events logged and surfaced in a simple dashboard. • Clean, documented code committed to a shared Git repo so I can keep maintaining it. If you’re comfortable juggling Next.js, MySQL, WebSockets, and media protocols like HLS/RTMP, let’s talk—weekly iterations are fine; I just need visible progress and clear communication. We are looking for a frontend developer to help us bring our platform to life. Please reach out if your interested. Age - 18+ Salary - £50 Per Week
