I run a growing subscription-based site and I’m looking for someone who can devote an hour or two each day to keep everything running smoothly. There won’t be a whole lot to do for the first couple of months until we fill our subscriber list, and more work will be added and this position will turn into a full time position The platform isn’t Shopify, WooCommerce, or Magento—it’s a custom setup—so you should be comfortable diving into code, databases, and hosting dashboards without the hand-holding that comes with those big boxed solutions. Your day-to-day work will revolve around two priority areas: resolving user account issues (sign-ups, log-ins, password resets, profile hiccups) and staying ahead of performance bottlenecks so pages load quickly even as our member count climbs. When something breaks I’ll count on you to track it down, patch it, and document what you did so we can avoid repeat incidents. Beyond firefighting, I’ll regularly ask for tweaks: content updates, layout adjustments, maybe a new feature here and there. If you’re at ease working in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and whichever back-end language the current stack uses, you’ll fit right in. Familiarity with typical SaaS tools—cPanel or similar hosting panels, Git for version control, and uptime monitors—will make the job easier.
