I am looking for an experienced developer to help optimize and refine an existing lead scraper by implementing a smarter, AI-based lead qualification and scoring system. The full workflow is already built and operational. Leads are sourced and filtered through Apollo.io using predefined criteria (industry, company size, role, location, etc.) and are automatically stored in Airtable, which serves as the final delivery format for the client. I have committed to my client that leads will be AI-qualified into different potential levels, so this project requires someone who can actively think along about how to improve and refine lead scoring logic. Current Situation - Lead scraper and automation workflow are fully functional - Leads are filtered and enriched via Apollo.io - All leads are stored in Airtable (this must remain the final output) - A basic scoring system exists, but currently most leads are labeled as “medium potential” - Monthly delivery to the client is an Airtable list of 50–100 leads Project Goal The goal is to enhance the existing workflow with a more advanced and reliable AI-driven lead scoring system, allowing leads to be clearly categorized as: - High potential - Medium potential - Low potential - Follow-up required The scoring should better reflect real sales potential and outreach priority, using: - Existing Apollo data and filters - Smarter weighting and logic combinations - AI-based evaluation where appropriate - The exact implementation is open for discussion; what matters is quality, accuracy, and scalability. Scope of Work - Review and understand the existing workflow and Airtable structure - Propose and implement an improved AI-based lead scoring model - Optimize the leadscraper and data structure where needed (while keeping Airtable as output) - Ensure leads are clearly classified and easy to interpret for the client - Deliver a maintainable and adjustable solution Required Skills - Experience with lead scraping and lead qualification systems - Experience with Apollo.io (strong plus) - Experience with AI-based classification or scoring models - Strong logical thinking and data modeling skills - Experience with automation tools (Make, Zapier, custom scripts) - Experience with Airtable workflows and schemas Important This is not a greenfield project.
