I’d like to bring a story to life through handcrafted stop-motion animation and am looking for a specialist who can guide the project from the first sketch right through to a polished final cut. I already know this will be stop-motion rather than 2D or 3D, so practical model-making, lighting and frame-by-frame capture skills are essential. Here’s the flow I have in mind: • Pre-production – refine or help develop the concept, then prepare a storyboard and shot list that locks down timing, camera angles and transitions • Production – build/recommend miniature sets and characters, light them correctly, and capture the sequence with software such as Dragonframe (or your preferred equivalent) to maintain consistent exposure and focus • Post – clean-up, colour-grade and assemble the footage, adding sound design or music where it enhances the narrative, and export the final piece in Full HD (or higher if you prefer working in 4K) To make sure we’re on the same page, please confirm: • Your previous stop-motion work (links welcome) • The tools you normally use for capture and editing (e.g., Dragonframe, After Effects, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve) • A rough production timeline once the storyboard is approved Deliverables 1.
