I have a semi-open floor plan villa that is about to undergo a full interior refurbishment and I need five high-resolution, photorealistic stills that bring the new concept to life. You will be working from my existing site photographs and a set of sketches that explain the intended layout for the living area, dining area and main reception. Style & palette The look I am after is eclectic and contemporary, yet calm—think carefully layered neutral tones and soft pastels rather than anything overly bold. Materials should read as unmistakably real: timber must look tactile, brushed metal should catch just the right specular highlight, and stone transitions need crisp groove articulation. What the camera should celebrate Because this is a full design showcase, each shot has to hero every key element—sofas and casual seating clusters, the dining table with its chairs, and the decorative as well as architectural lighting. Balance natural daylight with warm accent lighting so that each render feels lived-in but never over-lit. Technical expectations • 3ds Max + V-Ray for all modelling, materials and lighting • Final output: 5 renders, minimum 4K resolution, uncompressed TIFF or PNG • Scene files and layered PSDs handed over on approval • All textures properly referenced and organised Approval points 1. Initial clay views to lock camera angles 2. Draft material pass for comments on groove lines, edge chamfers and transitions 3. Lighting pass to fine-tune daylight vs. artificial ratios 4. Final colour-graded renders If you are meticulous with materiality, know how to coax the best out of V-Ray’s light-mix and can keep a clean, well-structured scene, I would love to see examples of similar residential work before we start.
