I need a Unity developer to build a single-player, turn-based political strategy game. Multiplayer is NOT needed (no servers, no Photon/PlayFab). Everything should run locally. Platform: Windows PC (Android later is optional). Core loop: 1 turn = 1 in-game “day”. Player makes decisions → clicks “End Turn” → simulation resolves → shows results/news. Screens/UI: - World map with regions/territories (Risk-style regions, not hex tiles). - Country menu: Economy / Diplomacy / War / News. MVP mechanics: 1) Map & regions: each region has an owner and simple stats (income/resources/population – simplified). 2) Economy: national budget, income/expenses, a few basic actions (taxes/invest/army spending – keep it simple for MVP). 3) Army & war: recruit/allocate troops, attack a region, battle resolution, losses, territory ownership change. 4) Diplomacy vs AI: peace/war/alliance/sanctions (can start with 2–3 actions for MVP). 5) Turn news log: after each turn generate a clear feed of events (wars, alliances, captured regions, sanctions, etc.). Important: - Simple visuals are fine (2D), focus on working mechanics + clean UI. - Clean, extensible code architecture (easy to add features later). - Please provide time/budget estimate for the MVP and a milestone plan. - Prefer Git repository and brief documentation.
