Premium Minimalist Jeweler’s Saw Design

I need a jeweler’s saw frame engineered from the ground up to feel like a precision instrument—clean lines, perfectly balanced, and visibly timeless. The entire assembly will be machined from aluminum, so every surface, radius, and tolerance must be defined with CNC production in mind. Ergonomics are critical: a comfortable grip, on-the-fly adjustable blade tension, and a truly lightweight overall mass all have to coexist without sacrificing stiffness. A sleek, modern visual language should run through every detail, from the silhouette to the smallest fastening solution. Scope of work • Develop concept iterations, moving quickly into a final 3D CAD model (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or comparable). • Validate structural performance and weight with FEA and basic ergonomic studies. • Optimise the design for 3-axis or 5-axis CNC milling, accounting for tool reach, fixture points, and post-processing. • Produce photorealistic renders that communicate finish, colour, and branding placement. Deliverables 1. Native CAD files plus neutral STEP/IGES. 2. Fully-dimensioned 2D drawings with GD&T tolerances ready for the machine shop. 3. Exploded assembly, BOM with hardware and surface treatments, and recommended cutting parameters/toolpaths. 4. High-resolution renders showing the product in use and in isolation. Acceptance I will review for aesthetic coherence, ergonomic comfort (via prototype or digital simulation), and manufacturability—each part must be ready to drop straight into CAM. Once approved, the project is complete and production can begin.
