I have a live React Native app whose original backend has just been replaced with a Laravel stack. Every API route and the business logic already exist there; the mobile frontend simply has to start talking to those new endpoints. Your first task is to refactor the current data layer so that every call now points to the Laravel routes and returns are mapped correctly throughout the app. While doing this, please preserve the existing UI—no design overhaul is needed. The registration flow does change: the new web journey adds a few extra steps and I will send you a PDF plus a working demo link that makes each of those steps clear. Bring that exact flow into the mobile experience, again keeping the current visual styling. React Native itself will likely need bumping to a more recent version. As you upgrade, resolve breaking changes, adjust any libraries that no longer compile, and make sure iOS and Android both run cleanly. Code lives in GitHub; I will invite you to a private repo. Work in feature branches, open PRs for review, and squash-merge when approved. Deliverables: • Updated React Native codebase fully switched to the new Laravel APIs • New registration journey implemented and tested on both platforms • Release-ready builds uploaded to TestFlight and Google Play Internal testing, followed by production submission • Brief release notes summarising changes, migration steps and any new environment variables Success is a smooth upgrade in the stores with no visible change in look and feel except for the expanded sign-up flow and, of course, the app pulling data from the new Laravel backend.
