I’m launching a new site for my restaurant and the single most important component is a smooth, in-house reservation system. The website itself can be a straightforward marketing presence—home, menu, gallery, contact—but the booking flow has to feel effortless on both desktop and mobile. Core requirement: guests must be able to choose a date, party size and time, then confirm their table in real time. Once a slot is taken, the availability view should update instantly so we never risk a double-booking. A clean, calendar-style interface on the customer side and an intuitive dashboard on the staff side will keep things running smoothly. At this stage I only need table booking, but the codebase should be flexible enough to add options like special-request fields or automated reminder emails later without a rebuild. Feel free to recommend the stack that will get us there quickly—Laravel, Django, Node, React, or a well-supported WordPress plugin are all fine as long as the final product is secure, responsive, and easy for my staff to manage. I will supply branding assets, copy, and high-resolution photos; you handle design, development, basic SEO setup, and deployment to our existing hosting. Before we go live I’ll test the reservation flow on desktop, iOS, and Android; once each path books correctly and displays the updated availability, we’re done.
