I’m looking for an experienced Mainframe/COBOL professional who can step in as my technical interviewer when I screen senior-level candidates. The role is straightforward: run remote interviews, probe deeply into modern COBOL practices, and send me a concise written assessment after each session so I can make confident hiring decisions. The interviews must cover: • COBOL programming at an expert depth • JCL usage and optimisation • CICS transaction handling • Application of these skills to new development projects and seamless mainframe integration Each interview should last around 45–60 minutes, include a brief live-coding or whiteboard exercise, and finish with clear pass/fail notes plus your rationale. If you have led or architected contemporary COBOL projects and enjoy evaluating talent, I’d like to work with you.
