We’re looking for a Squarespace designer who can consistently refine an existing site to a quiet, editorial, ultra-luxury standard. This is not sales-driven, not flashy, and not template-led. This is not a rebuild project. It’s ongoing, detail-oriented refinement where taste, restraint, and precision matter more than features. You’ll be working on a high-end residential brand where the goal is to create confidence through pacing, spacing, typography, and subtle hierarchy. Think closer to a printed editorial than a traditional real estate website. As a reference for the level of polish and restraint we’re aiming for, you can review: https://www.akuravillas.com This is a reference for tone and mindset only, not a style to replicate. We care more about how you think about a site like this than how closely you can copy it. What you’ll be doing 1. Refining existing layouts with disciplined spacing and rhythm 2. Improving typography hierarchy and visual balance 3. Updating content and sections without disrupting the overall calm 4. Adding subtle, intentional interactions only when they add value 5. Applying custom CSS for precision beyond native Squarespace controls 6. Ensuring pixel-accurate results across desktop, tablet, and mobile What matters most 1. You understand quiet luxury and know how to say less, but better 2. You think in systems, not templates 3. You can execute quickly without losing restraint 4. Your work looks effortless, not “designed” Important 1. We are only interested in designers whose Squarespace work is clearly more refined than standard commercial sites 2. If your work relies heavily on bold effects, heavy animations, or sales tactics, this will not be a fit To apply, please send 1. Squarespace websites you personally consider your best work 2. For each site you submit, briefly explain one specific design decision you made that improved the site, and what problem it solved. 3. Confirmation of whether you work solo or with a team, and your role in execution 4. One thing you would intentionally not copy from the Akura site, and why If clean typography, confident white space, and editorial restraint are second nature to you and your work proves it, we’d love to talk.
