I’m building a secure, browser-based tool that lets my property-management team handle every stage of a tenancy in one place. The core of the system is a clean dashboard where authorised property managers sign in using a simple e-mail + password flow; no other user roles are required right now, so the interface can stay streamlined. Once logged in, a manager must be able to: • Create a new tenancy record, set key dates, rent amounts, and status updates. • Store and update the full data set for each tenant—contact details, references, payment history, and notes—without hitting size limits. • Upload and retrieve compliance documents (gas safety certificates, EPCs, right-to-rent checks, etc.) with an at-a-glance expiry indicator. I’d like the back end organised so future roles (e.g. maintenance staff or tenants) can be added without rewriting the foundation. Feel free to suggest the most appropriate stack; I’m used to working with React, Node, and PostgreSQL, but I’m open to alternatives if they speed up development and keep data secure (GDPR compliant). Deliverable: a fully functional, responsive web application deployed to a staging URL, plus a Git repository with readable code and setup instructions so I can host it on my own server when we go live.
