Internal VS Code Extension for Template Management We need to develop an internal Visual Studio Code extension to support local development and controlled deployment of remote frontend assets (Twig templates, CSS, JavaScript, Yaml, etc) managed through a Templates API. The extension will keep the local workspace synchronized with the remote source of truth, provide safe editing workflows, and expose publishing and preview capabilities directly inside VS Code. Key Requirements: • API Configuration & Authentication • Workspace Sync on Project Open • Auto-Sync (Configurable) • Save-Time Update • Unpublished Files View + File Publishing • Add Notes on Publish Required Skills: • Comprehensive experience developing VS Code extensions in TypeScript/Node.js • Hands-on with VS Code APIs: commands, status bar, TreeDataProvider, file watchers, workspace/secret storage • Strong understanding of sync/conflict workflows and safe file operations • Experience building resilient API integrations (timeouts, retries, error handling) • Cross-platform support (Windows + macOS) Project Details: • Duration: 2-3 weeks • Experience Level: Expert • Budget: Hourly (Less than 30 hrs/week)
