Hi All, I’m currently experiencing performance issues with one of my websites, which appears to be caused by plugins overloading the server. The CPU usage in cPanel is consistently reaching 100% and being throttled, which is also delaying email delivery. Current resource usage: CPU (Speed): 100% (limit reached) Memory: 374 MB / 1 GB Entry Processes: 3 / 20 NPROC: 16 / 100 I/O & IOPS: Within limits This suggests the issue is specifically related to CPU saturation, while other resources are functioning normally. As the site is built on WordPress, the high CPU usage is likely due to plugins, themes, or background processes. I’m looking for assistance with the following: Updating WordPress core, themes, and plugins to the latest versions Removing any unused or inactive themes/plugins Deleting any unused websites or installations Reviewing and disabling resource-heavy plugins (e.g., backups, security scans, page builders) Scanning the website for malware or suspicious scripts Additionally, I require a full backup of both the website and database before any changes are made, to prevent data loss. If resource usage remains high after optimization, it may indicate that the current hosting plan is insufficient and an upgrade may be required. For reference, this is a newly built, simple site: https://mojovillasphuket.com/ Thanks in advance for your help. Best regards, Jonathan
