I need my existing chat application’s REST API connected to Zapier so every new conversation, message, and customer detail can flow straight into Salesforce in real time. The chat platform already exposes webhooks for events such as “conversation started”, “message sent”, and “conversation closed”. Your job is to build a Zapier app or a series of Zaps that: • Receive those webhook payloads • Map the data to the correct Salesforce objects (lead, contact, case, or custom objects we agree on) • Push updates back to the chat API when status changes in Salesforce (e.g., case closed) The chat API is fully documented and uses standard JSON over HTTPS with token-based authentication. I have Zapier and Salesforce admin access ready for you, plus a sandbox for safe testing. While Zapier is the immediate focus, I will later involve Twilio for SMS alerts and SendGrid for follow-up emails, so please keep the structure modular enough for those additions. Acceptance criteria: • A functioning Zap (or private Zapier integration) that logs every chat event into Salesforce with correct field mapping • Bi-directional update for at least one workflow (e.g., when a Salesforce case is updated, the chat API receives the change) • Clear setup documentation and short Loom walkthrough so my team can adjust mappings on our own If you’re comfortable with Zapier’s Developer Platform, Salesforce REST/Bulk APIs, and secure webhook handling, I’d like to start right away.
